After reading the Kicking the Pigeon, and listening to the "Story," about where and who became involved in the serious problems of one of the largest law enforcement agency and a lack of legal representation by city fathers I was outraged. I am a former police officer and I was shocked by the absolute indifference to citizens' rights. I belive that the United States should engage in a suit against the City and the Department to force reform versus wasting eight more years waiting for change to happen while citizens continue to be victimized. The Union or FOP should be also enjoined as was donme in NYC. They support the illegal pattern and practices still being utilized by the CPD.
